If thinkgeek processes your order the same way they processed mine you should get your test on Friday!
Tips:
1. When you put the one drop of water in the circle be ready to punch the hole in your finger. You don't want the water to soak in before you're able to drop the blood in. The purpose of the water is that once you've dropped the blood in and spread it around to rock the card back and forth so it either coagulates or makes a smooth little puddle. If you wait too long, the blood doesn't spread out right.
2. When you spread the blood out, do it to the edge of the circle but not outside, and do it as quickly as you can without being sloppy.
3. Don't use the little white buckets to put the blood in. Leah says you'd need a harpoon to punch a hole in your finger to fill those up and it takes too much time. Just squeeze a drop of blood out onto the paper.
4. When you punch the hole in your finger, use the index on the top knuckle (the one with the nail). Leah says to make the hole closer to the side of the finger so it doesn't hurt as much. When you're squeezing the blood out, squeeze from the knuckle and you'll get a good drop. One drop per circle, dude. Don't be bleeding all over creation.
5. This photo illustrates the coagulate/smooth puddle:
Now see how it's all smooth on the far left and right, but grainy on the ones in the middle? The graininess tells you what type you are. Well, that and the nifty little decoder map they give you.
